Willits: Water Conservation Coordinator Position

Position Title: WATER CONSERVATION SPECIALIST II/III
Employer: City of Willits
Closing Date: 5:00 P.M. ON FRIDAY, MAY 23, 2008.
Salary: Water Conservation Specialist II ($2,928-$3,559/monthly) or Water Conservation Specialist III ($4,216-$5,124/monthly). Excellent benefit package.

THE POSITION:
This individual will develop and manage a comprehensive water conservation program for the City which will include an analysis of unaccounted water usage. Partial funding for this position is being provided for three years through a Sustainable Communities Grant. Funding for the position beyond the 3-year grant period is not guaranteed at this time.


QUALIFICATIONS:
Permaculture is a good background for this position, especially if combined with a degree in Environmental Studies.
