Skywater Center

Skywater Center is located on 180 acres in Zenia, Trinity County California.
This is a large-scale restoration project that also hosts workshops on permaculture and wilderness awareness, forest management, erosion control methods and keyline patterning.

We have designed and installed the following at this site:

• 4 catch basins
• 1 rainwater harvest pond that holds approximately 400,000 gallons
• keyline swales moving rainwater to places where it will benefit the land
• native bunch grass and wildflower meadows
• erosion control projects featuring gabions, swales and other soil conservation. structures to eliminate erosion on the land.
• fuel load reduction and forest management program increasing forest health and diversity
• outdoor shaded classroom & kitchen
• outdoor professional quality wood fired bread oven
