About Ned Conwell

 Ned Conwell has taught environmental education and nature awareness skills to youth and adults for 12 years. He has a B.S. in Ecology and Environmental Education from U.C. Berkeley. He also has a certificate in Ecological Horticulture from the Center for Agroecology and Sustainable Food Systems at U.C. Santa Cruz.

Ned has worked on several organic farms in California and has managed a small organic market garden/farm for a couple seasons. He also has a permaculture design certificate and has been a student of Tom Brown's Tracker School. 

He has been an instructor for the Institute of Nature Awareness and is currently on staff for the Regenerative Design and Nature Awareness program. He is passionate about the combination of wilderness and gardens and when not out tending his veggies you can find him exploring the coastal ecology from the deck of his surfboard.
