Claire Hope Cummings, an environmental lawyer, journalist, and the author of the new book
Uncertain Peril: Genetic Engineering and the Future of Seeds, in conversation with Percy Schmeiser, a Canola farmer from Saskatchewan, Canada, who became an international symbol and spokesperson for farmers' rights and the regulation of transgenic crops during his protracted legal battle with the agrichemical corporation Monsanto.

Claire Hope Cummings will be speaking about her research that lead to her new book, and discuss with Percy Schmeiser the impact and consequences of his recent court victory over Monsanto. The talk will be preceded by a reception featuring local food from West Marin producers. This is an evening not to be missed by anyone who cares about seeds, food and farming!
